I always make sure my room is locked before I sleep for security reasons. There was a case in our neighborhood where one of the house was robbed and the daughter was raped so i am very cautious about security matters. When children are still young, it is not advisable to lock the door as they might need help in the middle of the night, but when you are alone in your house, you need to lock all doors to be sure you are safe. Doors have locks for safety purposes so why don't we lock our bedroom doors to insure safety????

Yes. I usually do that well, as a matter of fact, I always do. It's quite the habit. We never could know what happens regardless how 'safe' we think our home is. So, yeah, we do lock our doors. Also, when it's an emergency, my parents have a master key for every door in the house. Plus, our home is built as there's access to another room if the need should arise. =)
