Gasoline Prices!!!

OMG, here in Texas USA 2 days ago gasoline was $4.97 a gallon! And yesterday at the same pumps, gasoline was $1.94!!! The lines were SO long! Are prices dropping everywhere this fast? What are the prices like where you live? Nocturnica

Gas had gotten up to right at $4 here in Missouri. The last time I really paid attention gas was down to $2.30. That was a few days ago. I really hope it gets down to under $2 a gallon here soon.

I filled up a few hours ago and the price has dropped to $2.19 a gallon.

I'm in las vegas and right now they are $2.70 or so. Last week it was over $3.

Dropping pretty fast in Portland Oregon too.. $2.47 from $2.89 the night before. Wife shoulda waited to fill up. :(

That is amazing. We were 4.50 for a long time as I am in the area that had the issue with gas shortages. We've been steadily dropping for the past couple weeks and are finally in the 2.50 range, which is a big relief as its a two dollar drop a gallon. Its still been going steadily down and I hope it remains that way because paying over 3 dollars a gallon, not to mention over or close to 4, is utterly ridiculous.
