an hour ago, while we were in a mall we passed by a dress shop where something funny had happened to me, and while passing by, i was reminded of it. it was about the same month last year when my husband and i were there looking for some long sleeves for him. as we were searching i went a few steps away from him looking at the other styles of clothes. then after a while, i held his hand and asked him if he was able to choose one for him but i wasnt really looking at him but at the clothes in front of us, then i looked at my husband. but when i looked at him, its just then that i've seen, it wasnt my husband im holding but another man who just stared at me and smiled. i was shocked and i felt so ashamed coz i did see my husband looking at us while smiling... oh my goshhh... i thought i'd melt like an ice cream under the sun... lol... does anyone of you experienced anything like this before which can make you laugh when you recall it? :)

Thats is so funny. Well, once I accidently went and sat on a strangers car thinking that I had sat on my husband's car and the man was really surprised and not too happy about it! I was so embarrassed - my husbands' car was just few yards away and the cars were similar so I had made the mistake.

How funny, but embarrassing at the same time. I've never gone so far as to take hold of a stranger's hand, but a few times, I've walked around the shop muttering to my sister about various products and turned around to find she's nowhere in sight and I'm getting the strangest looks from others! Ha ha ha. It will teach us to look at a person when we're talking to them, instead of feasting our eyes on the products on offer, eh? Brightest Blessings.

A few years ago I was shopping for a new fax machine, whilst in the store I was approached by a guy whom I thought was someone I knew from years back. "Hi" I said enthusiastically. "Long time no see" He smiled back at me sadly. After a few seconds I realized that it was the salesman offering his service. Was my face red.! I apologised and felt very bad.He smiled back at me again a little more sadly.Dont worry about it he said as he proceeded to assist me in my purchase.I can only hope that this person has forgotten what I look like or that I have changed somewhat in appearance.Gladly I have'nt been in that shop for a few years.

hi nhey16 I still laugh when I think about it. My son is now 49 so this would have been 43 years ago when he was three, and i was helping him bathe. My husband had gone off to the grocery store and asked if I wou ld open the door for him when he got back as his hands would be full of grocery sacks I had said sure, just knock.well when I heard his knock,I thought it was his, I had both hands full so I yelled just shove on the door,it'll swing open for you, then i got my son out and ran to help.Only even as I called out honey Im coming , Ill help with the groceries I realized after I had spoken that the man standing there was not my husband but a much bigger man who was dark skinned,a negro, in a nice business suit. He smiled and told me he was an insurance sales man. there I stood with myson wrapped in a towel, having called this strange man honeyand Ill help you. I explained and he laughed. Then I told him we really couldnt afford his insurance right now.So I can really sympathize with you holding the wrong man's hand. it does happen. and its to laugh for too.

I had the same experience but thank goodness the person I held hand with was also a friend! It was way back in high school and since my parents are strict, I have to sneak out everytime I go out. We were on a movie house and all of a sudden my phone was ringing. It was my mom! So you can imagine how nervous I was! I held my friend's hand so he can go with me outside so that when I answer the phone, my mom wouldn't find out that I'm watching a movie! To my suprise, once we were outside (with the lights on)talking to my mom, the guy I was actually holding was the guy who was courting me! He was smiling so much because he thought I did it in purpose! O well... hehe!

It's really funny.I have a same experience with you.It was a Sunday.I was walking on a crowed streed alone.I suddenly found there was a person in front of me seems is one of my friends. The same hairstyle, stature and walking posture, she really was my friend I thought.I was glad I can meet her and I would like to give her a surprise. So,I went over to her quitely and beated on her shoulder and said to her "suprise!" Then the girl turned around and looked at me with a surprised expression.Oh,God,this was a strange girl who I didn't know.My face turned red immediately.I apologized to her again and again and she just smiled...

funny! hehe.. that always happens to my son whenever we're out shopping. he would walk with someone (who he thought was me), hold their hands while walking. i usually let him until he discovers it because his expression is priceless.

I can relate to you. My sister and I was in a mall shopping going from one little store to another. We got into one with all these little nic-nacks. I was talking to her and she had gone to the next isle. So, there I was talking to her about the little cute nic-nacks when another two ladies come down the isle and whisper one to the other. "It's a shame when a woman starts talking to herself." I told them I was not talking to myself, my sister was in the other isle." Come to find out she was not she had left to go to another little store next to that one. The ladies and the sales woman thought I was crazy. Let's just say I left fast and called my sister's cell phone faster. My sister laughed thru the lunch that she bought me.

Hi there, LoL well that was funny! I remember when i was around 10 years old i went to a shopping mall with my friends. That time we did not have many shoping malls here in India and i was really scared to step into the escalator. I was hesitating and my friend was pushing me to step into the esclator. Everyone else was having fun looking at me and i realized it a after a long time. I lost my balance twice but luckily i did not fall down. I was very ashamed and i just ran away from the mall, lol Cheers, Tutul

Hi Nhey! That was really funny! I'll bet you were really embarrassed! But it sure was a funny story! And now I'm sure you and your husband laugh about it too even though at the time I'm sure you weren't laughing at all! I'm sure the guy whose hand you were holding thought it was funny too! It's ok, you just weren't paying attention. You were too busy looking at the clothes. At least your husband thought it was funny! Some husbands would have gotten really angry. At least yours has a sense of humor! I can't say that I've ever done that before, but I'm sure I've done plenty of other crazy funny thing I just can't think of any quite as good as that one right now!
