Is Anybody here still using hands for washing Clothes?

were u born in 1970 and with a “dong” family name?if yes,i definitely u‘r chinese. i’d like 2 wash with a machine if i had enough money.cause the laundry in my university is chagerd.and now i have no ability 2 earn money which forces me 2 wash manually.i think it's a shame.and i wanna 2 change the embarrassing situation oneday.

I would prefer to wash my clothes by hands but I don't have the time to do it so I wash my undies with my hands and I bring my clothes to a laundry shop.

i am that old dated person although i am not old. i use handwashing mainly. i thnk it cleans better most things that are delicate

I am using both methods. I am also not satisfied with washing machine. So I will use the machine only for heavy cloths like bed sheet, covers etc. Otherwise I like to wash my cloths manually. It may be time consuming but I like it.

Yes, since we don't have a washing machine our maid used hands for washing our clothes.. And I think it more good to used hands for washing clothes than washing machine because you will be able to washed the clothes very well.. Sometimes in the washing machine some dirts will not fade away, it still suck on the clothes.. I think for those people who don't have time washing their clothes or "lazy" to washed their clothes they will just used washing machine than their hands.. But for me it is more advisable to used hands for washing clothes than washing machine.. I sometimes washed my clothes if our maid is in day off and I am the one who wash my under wears..

Yes i still do.I wash undergarments that are not machine wash by my hands.I still believe that washing through hands is the best.I had noticed that washing machine doesn't remove dirts and stains very well.I wish i have time to do it but we just rely on washing machines by now.

Yes, we still do because there are clothes that need not washing machine at all. Like the undies, the silk clothes, and many other soft clothing. We never put those clothing in the washing machine to preserve their form and quality. I patiently wash them with my hands or if not it's my hubby who does the hand washing.

My mom is still washing the cloth with hands. In my country, using washing machine is only for the rich people. Our place people is still traditional and most of them wash with their hands. Beside that, in my place we can easy to search and hire a housemaid to do our house work with low wage. So it cheaper to employ a housemaid than buy a washing machine to wash our clothes. Hi dong! Its just me and my husband in the house and we don't have so much clothes to wash. I sometimes take the heavy stuff in the laundry shop and wash the light ones with my hands. And its not really hard to wash light clothes by hands sometimes I have fun doing it.

I sometimes do, but with three kids I now have no time for it. I do sometimes but not because I don't trust washing machine but there are times when I feel energetic for the chores . yuor friend is lucky with the helper, I had a helper once who don't like washing by hand ( to think that she cam from a barrio where they wash by hands only arte!) and now when I ask my mom to look for a helper, they say the first one they will ask is if there is a washing machine.. haay

I love our washer and dryer. I can just go into our garage and stick my piles of laundry in there. I'm not one who's very particular about how different textures of clothing are washed, just as long as they are washed.

I sometimes wash my delicate clothing by hand. Sometimes my washing machine is rough on my clothes and tears them, even on the delicate cycle. I would rather take the time to wash them by hand then lose my clothes to the washer.

I'm leaving in an urban area, but i still manage to washed my clothings using my hand. Why? it's not because that i don't want to use washing machine. I just love washing my own clothes. As if i'm just playing with it. My classmates too are using their hand in washing their clothes. Before when i still live my auntie and uncle at their home. We only defend on washing machine and i noticed that using washing machine all the time makes my clothing deteriorate.

I knew so many people which are in the developed area should use to wash their cloths by using washing machines. But I am still using hands to wash my clothes. I just washed my clothes weekly twice. I started washing my clothes by hand four months ago. I was laid off from my job, and do not have a wasing machine of my own, and was taking my clothes to a public laundry mat. That could become quite expensive, at least fifteen dollars each time I go. I do not have the money, so I started washing my clothes at home by hand, I have a little scrub board. I have found that it is not that hard, and the clothes do come out cleaner. I do not let them pile up, I usually wash if not every day, every other day. When things get better for me financially, I think I will continue this trend, because like I said, it is not hard and I do like the end results.

I have no choice but to wash my clothes with my hand!I am a poor guy and i AM A student!
