well i called my cousin in texas a few minutes ago. he works for Exxon. he said most people on here are right about supply and demand. gas is in surplus right now and its winter. not many people running around. he even compared it to bananas guess he thinks im dense! uuuhhh. he said its like you have 10 bananas and 2 people buying and you need to get rid of them before they go bad, they gonna be cheap hhhmm. so thats the extent of it. isnt it great?

Good explaination, tell him I said Thanks and that those bananas will spoil in a heart beat. I like mines a little soft and ripe. The gas prices here has decreased a lot too. As a matter of fact I got to get some when I go out today. Happy MyLotting.

Gas here is down thankfully from over $3 to $2.25 a gallon. I am glad for that. I just hope that it doesn't shoot back up before Thanksgiving so people won't be able to visit family.

Hi bunnybon7, I don't about that but our gas prices are still way too high, but people are so used to it now that they don't talk about it anymore. Tamara

What does he do there, were you expecting some inside info. Lots of things tie into the gas prices unfortunately. I read something about opec. Iran and some other country, which I can't remember, wanting to jack up the price but Saudi Arabia was not going to support that and would request something much much less. I guess they are well respected. Anyway, I don't think Exxon would tell it's employees anything.

The gas prices here in Ohio just seem to keep going and going down. It's really great when you think that just a few months back we were paying over $4 per gallon and yesterday I filled up at $1.82 per gallon. That's less than 50% of what I paid just a few months ago. It's great and I hope it stays like this as long as possible.
