Yup! I'm guilty! I admit it. I am a thief. That's right, that's what I said, I'm a thief! I have this really bad habit. I do it every year, I just can't resist..... I steal candy from my kids trick or treat stash! LOL! Oh, it's sooo yummy! So what about you? Are you guilty too? Do you enjoy a sweet treat from your kids' Halloween stash?

I'm SO a thief! Especially since my son doesn't get a whole lot of his Halloween candy usually. I do avoid eating the things he really loves and start out by eating the things he doesn't like so much. But I'll also admit that when we trick or treat and he's shy when someone says "pick one" I pick for him, and I always pick something I intend to steal. Is that evil of me? He won't be missing out on much, we've got a huge bucket full of regular sized candy bars that weren't given out this year... not to mention the skittles and starburst (his favorites). So there's plenty of candy to go around.

I'm christian too but I don't view modern day Halloween, a day when kids and even some adults, dress in silly costumes for fun, and collect or pass out candy as all that serious nor satanic. Nor do I consider it devil worship as we do no such thing. Thanks for your response, have a lovely day.

LOL, I think all of us parents are theives at this time of year. However, I do think that it is a parental right to steal their candy, especially if we walked around all night with them collecting. I say it is only fair and we earned what ever we take. I do however respect their favorites and will not steal them. I have to admit I like to tease them and pretend that I am going to take their favorites.

Hehehe! You are so right! We did earn it, didn't we? I don't take my kid's favorites either but, yes, it is fun to tease them!

Haha. Yes but I ask permission first. Hahaha. I dont try to steal, instead Im just waiting for them to give me. They have been so generous kids for years now. And im thankful for that. Sometimes they give me too much candy that I have to store it in a big jar. Now since it's halloween, my jar was almost half-filled with candies. It will take me months to consume all of this.

LOL! We used to grab all the ones we liked out of the kids stuff. Now that they are all grown and are not near us we buy our own candy to eat ourselves. Not quite the same a snitching from the kids.

Now, I believe it is really their own fault.......... for not being more clever when they hide the stuff. Sometimes they even ask me where they should put it!HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHHAHHHHAAAAA!!!!!!(I need a crazy little witch emoticon here - so just imagine her)
