Here is info on Rev Wright and Obama's relationship with him. This is old -- from March 17, from when Obama had only said he never heard any of that hate message or anti-US rhetoric. Obama since has said he heard it but ignored it. Finally, under pressure, he disowned Rev Wright. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/03/17/opinion/main3944215.shtml

What makes you think this attack will work any better the second time? Obama shows no signs of exhibiting any of Wright's radical philosophy, so it's irrelevant. This guilt by association stuff is nonsense, and always has been. "What do you talk about when you've got nothing to say? You talk about the other guy!" Biden's had you guys pegged for a while.

This attack has not stopped at all; same attack and it is SOOOO RELEVANT. Have you read Obama's books? Have you taken note of all his OTHER friends? Rhetorical questions, clarus. I, for one, do NOT believe that Barack Obama is stupid enough to display his anti-American/anti-white sentiments during a Presidential campaign. Apparently you are not sure. But looking into his books, his older speeches, his history, his friends, two things are very repetitive: anti-American sentiment, and socialism.

No one who matters has called Obama a Socialist. They call his policies socialist. There is a difference. I believe his socialist leanings are far more socialist that most Americans would want. And definitely not going to help our economy. Obviously Obama is not 100% socialist. But he is not a capitalist either. It is you who support Obama who don't seem to understand what socialism is. Nor have you done any research on your candidate -- refusing to go to links that give you his background, his history, his old speeches.

As another poster here said, anyone who calls Obama a socialist doesn't know what socialism is. Now this guy is ACTUALLY a socialist, and he'd know better than anyone if someone is being described accurately as a socialist. He describes Obama as a capitalist (which he obviously is), and feels McCain is distorting HIS views when he falsely attaches the label to Obama: http://www.colbertnation.com/the-colbert-report-videos/189688/october-28-2008/socialist-candidate-for-president---brian-moore Fear and smear. Allow me to summarize the McCain campaign: "OMG OBAMA'S A SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST/RADICAL/LEFTIST/LIBERAL/MARXIST/ELITIST/MUSLIM/TERRORIST/SEPARATIST/BLACK LIBERATIONIST/MESSIANIC CULT FIGURE/ANTICHRIST WHO HATES AMERICA!!!!!!! Quick, throw a few more labels on him, SOMETHING's gotta stick!"

Obama's relationship with Rev. Wrong might to some be an old story, but this is one of those stories that just keeps on given. A man is judged by the company he keeps, and the company Obama keeps is questionable at best. If Obama wins he will be able to appoint judges and heads of huge bureaucracies. If Obama did not know Rev. Wrong was a hate mongrel and Bill Ayers was a terrorist then how can we trust him to appoint the right kind of people to government positions.

If people read the article -- it's not that long -- they will be reminded of how the media treated Bush over one speech he gave at Bob Jones University. So not the same, yet the treatment of Bush was so much worse than that for Obama. It's an old story, but one that I feel NEEDS to be heard every day. I hope that some of the undecideds among us are reading even if not writing... All my life -- I'm 51 -- candidates have most definitely been judged according to the company they keep. Until now. Obama is exempt. Ask yourselves why!!
