you grab whatever is in the fridge? Sometimes, I will cook a whole meal on Saturdays, but most of the time I will grab whateve I can find in the fridge. Today I fixed a full breakfast for my husband, I just had a couple of biscuits and turkey. My husband had a turkey sandwich and milk for lunch, I had a half of a turkey sandwich. I think I will have a hot dog later and that will be my dinner. Are you going to or have you already prepared a full meal for Saturday?

This is funny because when I first read it I thought, yes I cook full meals every darn day. I have three children and I am the only person in the house that cooks the meals. We never do take out or delivery because it is just too expensive with our limited income and lots of people to feed. But them I thought about it again and realized that usually on Saturdays I don't make a mega whole meal. I make fast fun food as a treat. So it may be fries and burgers. Or I may even heat up a frozen pizza. But on Sundays I am back to making real dinners that are wholesome and take some time and preparation.

Thanks for BP... I also like slow cooker meals that I can freeze for reheating later meals to save me some time.
