hi there... i am just wondering. if the rest are like me, 25. i was able to stay up without much sleep and still function well. take on so much work and do so much. right now, i can't anymore, my body is clamoring for sleep and rest. i wish i have the energy level that i had at 25. i was always on the go... hehehhee... how about you... do think, it's all in the mind thing? happy mylotting.

I do not consider the ability to function well without sleep an indicator of energy level. Never at any age have I taken that risk. I have always considered a full night's sleep mandatory for optimal mental and physical performance. I know people 30 years younger than me who act like they are old people, and I have nothing in common with them. Peak age? Maybe 110? I have not reached peak age yet, so I cannot tell you.

It's all in the mind, shiloh. I don't think a few years would make that much of a difference in energy unless one gets hurt physically. I think, right now, you are just tired and exhausted because you just got back from a trip. I am sure you will find that "peak" energy again soon once well-rested physically, emotionally and mentally.

I don't think it is an age thing at all, I think it is a matter of the mind, if you are happy within yourself, happy with your life and on a positive level I guess, these days i have more energy than i had when I was younger simply because I am so happy with certain areas of my life...I think it can have a lot to do with what we are putting into our bodies as well...
