Do you prefer mall shopping or online shopping?

For some reason I kind of enjoy online shopping better now. I find it easier to decide if I should buy this or that then I also find it convenient to compare prices of the same merchandise from one online store to another. I get to save some $$$ doing that + the availability of online coupon codes. It's so cool!! At the mall I would have to wonder if the item i bought could be cheaper in another store which is about 10-20 min walk from where I'm at and then kick myself up after finding out that I was right. I also have this impulse buying habit when I'm in a store then later find out that the item i got is a lot cheaper online with free shipping...kick myself again and then decide to get it online instead and then go back to the store to return the said item. The gas price adds up to my frustration. While long walks in the mall could also be a good exercise I could do that too without shopping. Am I being too cheap? Am I the only one like this?

I have just recently got into online shopping. I use to love going to the mall shopping to hunt for deals, but now it is so easy to get online, find deals and get coupon codes to make the deals even sweeter!
I don't think you are being cheap. Hey, whatever it takes to save a little, I am right there with you.

I prefer online shopping. If I go 2 the mall or any other store I will tend to buy more then what I actually went there for. Therefore causing me to spend more money then what I have..Online shopping is soo much easier as well b/c then u dont have 2 waste the gas to go wherever u have 2 get ur shopping done. I never was into online shopping until this yr. Soo much easier!

I actually like them both. When it comes to shopping for clothes or shoes, I like to shop in a mall. I like to try stuff on to know that I am getting the right size to prevent a hassle of a return through the mail or wasted money.
For anything else, I like to shop online. I am doing most of my Christmas shopping online this year. I am shopping on a budget, so I need to be really careful how I spend money this holiday shopping season.
Like you said, I hate wondering if I could have gotten something cheaper at another store. When I shop online, I don’t really have that problem. Like, I had to buy some dolls for my daughter last week for Christmas and I opened up 3 internet explorer windows (Amazon.com, ToysRUs.com, and KBtoys.com). I compared prices before I made my purchase to know I was getting the better deal.

Sometimes it is fun to go out. But I enjoy online shopping too. Especially during the holiday season. Avoiding the huge crowds is better for me at that time. I try and avoid impulse shopping. It can get costly.

Exactly! I hate crowded mall and that's why whenever I need to shop for the holidays I go early on weekdays. Fridays to Sundays are the worst you can be at the mall. Impulse shopping can indeed get costly that's why I usually pay the price and return the items i bought out of my stupid impulse :(

Oh yes...when it comes to clothes and shoes mall shopping is better. Although I do buy some of my shoes on Zappos website because you get to receive the shoes you order the very next day with free shipping and return. I think that's real convenient. As for the clothes mall shopping is better not only because of getting the right size but I'm very particular about checking out the real color and material of the clothes.

I like the mall better, I do think that online shopping can be more convient, but I have more fun getting out of the house and going shopping then I do shopping in front of my computer.

i haven't been to a mall in months. i do all my shopping either online or at discount stores like ross and/or tjmaxx. online i shop from other home business people, like avon/mia bella/etc, so that we are supporting each other. and i dont like paying full price, so stores like ross and tj maxx give me my favorite levi's and great gifts for a fraction of the price and no one has to know about it. i hesitate to buy clothes online since i have weird body shape and i want to feel clothes before i buy them for someone else..

I still prefer mall shopping. I just to touch and feel before buying something. Also, shopping at the mall is relaxing.
