I know it's not a holiday season and I will never get my holiday during holiday season. I am working in a 5 star resort and I can only have my yearly leave during a low season period which is ussually on the rainy season.. Still I am looking forward for my holiday next week. It's been a very busy months during June-October and I am so jealous of watching people enjoying their holiday and my resort, so it is now my turn.. Me and my husband are planning to go to another island to relax and really enjoy the beach.. Oh yes I do see the beach view everyday and I do live in the island of Bali. Still it feels different when you are on holiday. We'll go to an Island called Gili and it just not too far from our island so we wont spend too much money travelling.. I'm just so excited!!!

hi afternoontea! i have also been wanting a vacation for a long time now. there's just been a lot of things that have happened in the past months and it would be nice if i could just get away from everything for a couple of days or a week. but its not easy to get a vacation especially if you're working 5 days in a week and you are not paid when you're absent and its impractical to be absent even just for a day. i just hope that i would be able to have a good long vacation on December during our week-long holidays. wow. you live in Bali? they say its a very beautiful place. you're lucky you live in such a nice place. i hope you'll have your vacation with your husband soon. or if you already did, i hope you enjoyed it.

Wow! am soo happy for you. I dont know when I will ever enjoy a holiday with hubby.....even honeymoon we only went for two weeks and came back to work. I cant take 24 days leave all at once, because here in the office you get every excuse you cannot go all those days because you know, you know, there is alot of work bla bla blaaaaaaaaaa! You go have fun with hubby my friend. Life is short and we have to use what we have to the maximum. Here in my country there are less islands and getting there is very expensive. We are dreaming to go to an island with hubby............in sychelles! cant wait. Have fun..........enjoy.

I hope that you and your husband will have a wonderful holiday on Gili Island and the weather will stay mostly dry for you. It must be exciting to work for a 5 star tourist resort because you probably get to meet people from all around the world every day. It is so mean the that your employer won't let you decide when you want to have a holiday. When I was eighteen to twenty I worked for a ship brokers. They let us have 12 days in the winter and 8 days in the summer. I asked to have a holiday at Easter time and my boss said no. Then I was called for jury service at that time and my boss managed to get me out of doing that. I was made redundant and then went off on my trip around the world. Have a fantastic holiday and collect many happy memories.
