your S/O (significant other)works all the time? although I am grateful that i'm able to stay home but my boyfriend works all the time and when he is home he doesn't do anything, so I sometimes feel like a single parent.

I'm so with you on this one. My husband works ridiculous hours, usually around 50-60 a week, and when he's home he's pretty much always on the computer. He hardly ever helps around the house, and will only do things when I ask him to, and sometimes he'll complain about it first.

I feel that from time to time, especially when he is travelling overseas. He has been more involved this time round as he isn't travelling until Jan or Feb next year, so I've been pushing a lot of things onto him. Since starting my part time job for the holidays, he's had to step up and take care of my son, even had to take the odd day off here and there to take part in activities at school and after school. He is finding it hard to keep up LOL At least he's trying. My son is loving it and enjoying his time with his dad.

I know exactly how you feel. I have two boys a 4 1/2 year old and a 3 month old. I am a stay at home mom. I dont feel completely like a single parent because i dont have to struggle to work and take care of my kids too. But i d0 in a way feel like a single parent because my husband is always working. He works 7 days a week 80+ hours a week. But someone has to work for us to survive. To get some things you have to give up some things. That is a part of life.
