Any good places to learn about seasonings and spices?

My husband bought me one of those rotating spice racks. The kind that comes with about 25 glass jars filled with different spices. Thing is, while I want to start using more spices, I am not always sure which spices to use for what foods. Any hints on where I can investigate all these great spices and learn how to use them for best results?

here's a couple of sites that list some uses for herbs and spices. I love cooking with herbs and spices they also can be used for good health. http://www.mosescone.com/body.cfm?id=485 http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A505513 http://www.culinarycafe.com/Spices_Herbs/

Why thanks, Dee. I will have to check the sites out. I am really looking forward to making use of some of these spices. Just to get away from the basics like salt, pepper and stuff.

I get my spices and herbs at the health food store. They sell them in bulk and they are so much cheaper. My granddaughter go there and have a lot of fun checking the herbs and spices out, finding out what they are good for beside seasoning.
