Cebu, Phillipines?

I know there are many people from the Phillipines on Mylot here, so I thought I would ask here. I am thinking about taking a vacation to Cebu in the Phillipines. Is this area nice? What is it like? Thank you!

Hi there! I'm from the Philippines but not from Cebu. I've been there a few times though. It's a pretty good place to visit. There are a lot of historical sites to visit. If you like beaches, there are also a few good beaches around Cebu. If you have time, you could take a trip to Bohol which is not to far away from Cebu. There are great beaches there and you could visit the Chocolate hills or see some Tarsiers.
