What is the most amount of responses you have had here at myLot?

The most I have had so far is 32. I am just wondering how others have been making out with there discussions. What do you find is the key to having many responses? Or is it just a great topic that seems to work at the time?

i have never had that many. good for you. i start very few discussions & to be honest i really don't know how many i've had.

Yes I just checked another discussion and it is up to 41 now. I really didn't expect it to go that far. But hey that's great!!

I'm pretty sure my highest one to date is 176. And my second highest is 128. The key to getting a lot of responses is to have a topic that anyone can relate to. And it doesn't hurt to have a lot of friends either!

Thanks! And don't my current discussion. It's up to 182 so far! A new record, at least for me! I've seen higher number of responses than this. 800 here, 500 there, by other users. Now that is impressive!

Yes I am gathering that the more friends you have the more responses you are likely to get. But 176 and 128 WOW !!! That's truly impressive!!

hmm..i think the highest was thirty something. it's pretty much hit or miss for me,they're either into the topic or not.can't always gauge.the real weird thing is when an old topic booms all of a sudden,i've had that happen.

I know it is really weird when you are sure a discussion will do well and it doesn't. Then others go crazy. I don't get it either.

Yes I know. I was just on one that has 7 pages of posts in 17 hours. I couldn't believe it. It's about your username. Its a funny discussion. You should go look it up if you can sacmom started it.

70! It might be up to 71 now. It is a discussion that I started about 6 months ago. It would die off for a few weeks or even a month and then someone would respond to it and then it would get several responses in a row. I have not gotten any responses to it lately though.

That's excellent. I have only had 3 reponses to a discussion that I have started. I personally do not think that there is a key to this all... it is about the topics. If you type in what people want to hear then you have a real winner. Unfortunately all of us think that our topics are hot and deserve more responses but I guess they are not too hot at that time.

You will get the hang of it. It all comes in time. But you make money responding to others as well so keep on truckin'!!
