I have endeavoured to answer every single post I get to a discussion I have started. I see that when I response to others discussions that many people do not take the time to response to others posts. How is that a discussion then if you don't answer back to the person. I mean they took the time to read your discussion and post to it. You should have the common courtesy to answer them back shouldn't you???? So do you answer back to people who post to your discussion?

Yes I know and doing both rating and responding to each post takes time. But this is what we are doing here is taking time to discuss something. So that's why you start a discussion to start with is to take time to discuss something, right??

i always try to respond back to he response i get to my discussion. i know the people spend their time on reading the discussion and responding it and all this effort is really appreciable and i really respect this and i respond to them, but i do this only when i have something to write for their response and i will surely not answer to the responses of one line which contains no matter at all and i only respond when i have something to write on it . and i dont respond the post containing only thanks and all those.

Yes, I try to respond every respons I get. I like writing so why not write the responses you get. You earn more, and You get a god dialog with someone sometimes depending on the topic.

I like to have a god discussion, a discussion that make you a dialog. And Mylot is god becouse you can have more than one dialog with more than one person. You get a lot more different prespectives on issues that do interest you. And sometimes you actually can help someone with a problem. I gues, discuss and dialog with people around the world is a great way of learning new things. Have a happy fathers day.

I find it also gets people to want to respond to your discussions in the future. This is what you want ultimately so you might as well help yourself along I figure.

I have only started one discussion that got a couple of responses but if I started a lot I would only reply to the ones I feel needs a reply to. You do not get any money credits for all those replies. If they require a reply, yes, if not no.

Yes but I feel that responding to every post encourages people to want to respond to your discussions in the future. I also feel that it is courteous to do so.

Oh yes - every time. Well every time to a sensible response, that is. As you say, it is the decent thing to do to acknowledge someone elses effort to post on your discussion. However, Shhhush, don't let everybody know, but it also helps you earn here as well. Every time a post is made to your discussion it bumps it to the top of the pile and so someone else might see it and add their contribution. Once your discussion gets about 15 to 20 replies you start to earn from each reply. 20c+ on a good discussion is not unknown.

Well that is some new info I didn't know. I only did it to be polite. If it helps to earn money too well then so be it. Thanks for the info.

I don't always respond to every single responder to my discussions, but I do try to respond to most of them.

Well there is something to be said about that. At least you try to do most of them. Better than nothing.

I always make sure that I do have a response to everyone of them, that is because I seldom have or only have a few response in my discussions. So I have more time to do it but even if I have plenty of it, it made it a hobby to start there or finish them all first before making any response to other discussion.

That's what I do as well. I check the discussions I started first responding to as many as I have time for and only when I have finished that do I go post to others discussions.

I used to reply to all of responders who respond to my discussion. I think it is useful to make discussion very lengthy. If I have no time to reply I definably make replies to another day. Happy to share. Happy myLotting.

That is as good as you can manage. I mean there are days sometimes I can't get onto myLot for whatever reason so I have to respond later on.

I try to respond to many of the responses I receive on my discussions. If the discussion becomes very large it gets hard to respond to everyone. I do think that some discussions can take off on their own. People not only respond to me but they respond to each other as well.

Yes I agree. If people go off on their own tangent then so be it. But I still try to respond to everyone's posts.
