Do you think that religion should influence the government? Here is the US, that is what it says in the constitution, but I don't think it's taken seriously enough. What do you think about it?

I'm not really sure. I sure know they have let it have some affect in schools though.

here in our country, even though there's a constitution about this separation of church and state, i can say that religion indeed has great influence in our government, there are several instances here in our country that religious people (bishops, priest, nuns and the likes) took the lead in order to for the government to give what is due to the people. until now, our religious leaders interfere to the decisions of our government leaders specially if they know that the decision will deprive the rights of the people and it violates human rights and its against the will of God. i do believe that the church and state has their own designated powers , but when it comes to morally and spiritual growth of the nation the government should allow the church to interfere because the church is the voice of the people.

Religion should be as far away from government because it will normally end up in some purification of some "Sinners" and stuff and in general I believe religion should be left where it belongs a personal matter not a matter of state. If a government becomes ran by religious morals it loses what it stands for as in United States the first amendment right would be destroyed by the religous and it would most likely would be the chirstian church which no offence doesn't follow a single think that there pressious little bible stands for. The GLBTQ community would be hunted down and distroyed and Then Wiccians. Finally they would take the Consitution away and shred it in to peices if a religious government ever even tried to be started I would attack and distroy it as I am a Patriot to the beliefs of the United States and would die to protect my rights and the rights of others.
