I don't usually post about making money online, but I was just so tickled yesterday to get a check in the mail from Clixsense. I didn't request it and they sent it without having to earn a large minimum amount. My budget was really tight this week, and I'll tell you how much the check was - only $7.82, but I still got a kick out of receiving it. Have you ever received money unexpectedly from your online accounts?

Yes, I have received unexpected affiliate account checks, and it's awesome! I'm happy with $7.82, but I love it even more when there are more digits to the left of the decimal point! I'm notorious for not keeping up with how my affiliate accounts are doing (except amazon, that I check daily) so I've had a few surprises in the mail - and I say bring 'em on! Great that they do seem to show up when you really do need them, too!

I don't keep up like I should either. I have a bout of good record keeping and then I get busy and forget to write stuff down. If I was really good at it, I'd have a spreadsheet I suppose.

I have amazon items on my Squidoo lenses (also ebay items, Cafepress, and Zazzle items) and earn commissions there. My Squidoo lensmaster page is at http://www.squidoo.com/lensmasters/Susan52 if you want to see my Squidoo lenses. If you've never heard of Squidoo, it's easier to show you than to try and explain it!

What is it that you do on Amazon? How can you earn money there unless you write...

The only unexpected check I received was from Stormpay and they were ordered to pay all those people like me who were waiting for their money. As for Clixsense as soon as you make $10 or what minimum amount you chose, and they know your address, they will mail you a check. It is in the fine print.

I read the fine print when I join these sites and probably forget after that. I keep good records on occasion and make be motivated now to get up to date.

It's a nice surprise isn't it. I get one from Cashcrate. Not a member of clixsense yet. It was still $7.82 you didn't have before! Good for you. I hope they keep coming.

I have gotten a few from a couple lil survey places, where they always pay you up to so many weeks later. I always forget I ever completed a survey and some don't even state a pmt that I recall and then to my surprise I find a $3 ck in the mail. Like others have said every lil bit helps, especially the way the economy is.

Even a very small check in the mail is a pleasure for me. Especially if I've forgotten about it. You are definitely right about the economy - even a little bit of money is starting to mean a lot.

I haven't been on Clixsense for a long time either. I got an unexpected check a few months ago from American Consumer Opinions, for a survey I had done and forgot about. It was only 6.00, but it came at a time when I needed every cent I could get.

I belong to American Consumer Opinions as well. I am fairly sure I've received a check from them as well. I joined quite a few survey sites, got paid from some, and got irritated with quite a few (I think we've had other discussions on the surveys on here).

That is like Manna from heaven... something like that happened to me... but it was not from online earnings... someone who borrowed money from me suddenly called after a year... and said that he will pay me back... and he did... he sent the money through western union... and i was so happy about that... since i really needed that money for my bills to pay which were already way pass due...

It's always nice to get something unexpected, but when you really really need it, it definitely is a blessing. The check has inspired me to get busy online more -

Well I haven't received a check in the mail that I wasn't expecting, but I did receive my first check for $27 from inbox dollars that I was expecting last week. Which reminds me, I need to take a picture of it before I cash it, so I have payment proof.

I keep forgetting to do the payment proofs as well. I think I get a check from Inbox dollars maybe once a year since I don't do anything but the emails with them.

Yes it's a nice feeling to see that envelope instead of a bill! As a matter of fact I got 1 today from American Consumer Opinon for $4.00 and one from Minefield for $27.00! So it does make opening the mail a plesant experience.
