I played it for 2 months. Well 1 month to be exact. I had a lvl 27 night elf hunter and I liked it but it was really boring. All I did was run around doing quests who are practically the same. Go there, kill that, get that item, etc... I like the game but I goes that I would love it if it was a single player game with a story. It could really be a great single player game but it simply isn't fun online. At last not for me. Also paying each month to play is a bit stupid in my opinion. I already paid for the game itself. So I wonder why I even bother buying the game if I have to pay each month around 15 USD or so to be able to actually play the game I have already paid for. the worst part is that I can practically throw away the game if I don't play it online. I mean I paid for it so I don't see any reason why should not be able to make at last a local server where I can play the game that I paid for. Buying the game is like flushing away your hard earner money down the toiled. I don't see any reason why they shouldn't simply give away the game for free and than let people pay the 15 USD a month if they want to play it.

First of all World of Warcraft has a story, maybe you just missed it because of your simple-mindedness. It has a lore that's really expanding and very rich. It has comic books, paper backs, and it will even have a movie that's set to be released in a few years or so. Second, the reason it has a monthly fee is because it's mainly an online game. Blizzard needs money for them to be able to thoroughly maintain their servers and address every bugs and glitches of the game. Lastly, 11 million subscribers seem to think that paying a monthly fee isn't much of a problem as long as they're paying for a quality game.

I know all that but it was simply to boring for me. Doing all those things was boring running around leveling,etc... Also, I had a problem or 2 with the game itself not running and the support did not really help me. Also, where is that local host option? I haven't seen one anywhere in the game. Or has there been a new update that enables you to make a local game so that you can at last play it that way?
