Rain has stopped now. Areas here in Metro Manila that were impassable before are now accessible. There are still lots and lots of vehicles in the street and the people stranded in their vehicles stayed in. There are talks that malls will be opened to accommodate stranded pedestrians. In these times of crisis the Heroes and Zeroes emerge.

Kudos to you for this effort! I would also like to add that people listen in to their radios and TVs. Teleradyo in channel 26 is non-stop in sending in reports all over the metro and they're posting updates for us those who would like to help.

Death toll now is 75 plus 58 that were found dead inside their homes in Provident Village. For those of you who don't know, Provident Village took the worst hit of the typhoon. Please pray for us here in the Philippines. There are reports that there's another tropical depression heading towards the Philippines and it's expected to hit us in 3-4 days.

Please tune in to Channel 26, Teleradyo for details about the tragedy. If you can and would like to help, there are warehouses in the Metro that accepts donations: monetary, food, in kind, and even manpower. There are also shortages of rubber boats. Another form of help, and the most powerful one, is prayer. Please pray that the tropical depression sighted near Guam doesnt hit the Philippines.

Yes, life goes on. Life goes on AFTER the tragedy.. There are still people trapped on top of rooftops and on their homes' 2nd/3rd floor WITHOUT FOOD AND WATER FOR 3 FRIGGIN DAYS NOW! My resolution for year 2010 is to become a better man. How to do it? By being more patient and calm. I've been irate almost all of my adult life and it really didnt help me a lot at all. So I'm changing that attitude and I'll be more patient.

..sorry it's just my nature to see the negative in all things.. paranoia struck me at an early age.. Nonetheless, good thing you redeemed yourself..
