newsletters by email - do you receive them?

I was wondering,... how many of you receive Newsletters of interest by Email?
How do you get onto the mailing lists that you are on? Do you read the emails? How often do you get the Newsletter emails?
I am asking all these questions because I have just spent all day doing the 2 newsletters for my online stores - violetdreamslingerie and violetpleasure (adult content) and got to wondering how many of the people on my mailing list would actually read and appreciate all my hard work.
If you want to receive a news letter from me, please PM me with your email address and name and I will add you to our mailing list - also let me know which letter you are interested in ... I'd hate to send you the wrong letter - lol.
Please let me know if you sign up for newsletters or if you actively avoid them.

Hahahaha, I was just joking with my friend that he should write a newsletter so I could have a job editing it. But if he wrote a newsletter he would need that service, snicker snicker. I mean I try not to go around editing people's text, but sometimes I can just not keep quiet, like with him, hehehe.
Do you make the lingerie? The reason I ask is because I have these books on making lingerie and I was thinking of giving it a whirl, particularly bloomers and camisoles.
Anyway, whenever I go to a website that interests me and they offer a newsletter, I always sign up for it. Sometimes I read them, other times I am not in the mood. Do you have that option on your website? You say it's an online store? Can people come in a browse? Is there a link on your profile page?

Hahahaha, OK, yeah, I see now that there is a link on your profile page. Nice work! Did you design the webpage or have someone do it for you? You probably don't make a whole lot of the lingerie yourself either I see. Or do you?

Hope you enjoyed our site.
My Hubby and I work the store together - he does the main design work and all the data base stuff (very technical) in his spare time while I do everything else... find suppliers, marketing, customer service, processing orders, etc...
And No, I don't make the lingerie. We use reliable suppliers who so far have very rarely let us down (thank goodness) :¬)
Unfortunately for us, postage to the US is quite expensive and so this limites our customers from the US. Sad isn't it?

I run my own e-zine so the newsletter goes out everyday, I have over 3000 members, perhaps half of that read the newsletter which is stories and poems from all kinds of writers.

i get a lot of newsletters but i never get to read them as often as i would like.. sounds like it would be a lot of fun but hard work!! i know i did a couple when i was a teen for a stupid aol thing but that was just messing around of course.. im gonna pm you on one you listed though..
