zigzagbuddha responded to a discussion called Bright white flies, white patches and black patches on my poor viola plants!!! in gardening.

In fact they're called White Fly. I've never had to deal with them myself, but here is a link with a few suggestions. http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/load/hibisc/msg0800594218289.html I don't know about the spots on the leaves, but one thing I do know is that over-watering plants creates a perfect environment for all kinds of pesky little critters and makes for an all-round unhealthy, unhapp...

zigzagbuddha responded to a discussion called Coffee? in health.

I used to drink coffee. And yeah, I started drinking it because it seemed so 'grownup'. The only way I can drink it though is loaded with cream and sugar and since I have a sugar addiction that has created a huge over population of candida I have had to give it up. Not only that but my daughter won't talk to me if I have had even one cup of coffee... I think all the years shooting speed affecte...

So are you a rock climber or something? What do you need that 's-biner' gadget for?I have been buying stuff online like crazy... a 90 dollar hairbrush, 65 dollar house slippers, 50 bucks for 2 ounces of oregano oil, 106 dollars worth of herbal teas, hehehehe, but I only just bought my first item on e-bay 2 days ago so I don't know anything about redemptions. Here is a photo of my first e...

zigzagbuddha responded to a discussion called Look What Crawled Out of a Hole in gardening.

Yeah, I would be startled. When I am walking in the woods sometimes just before my foot goes down I see a lizard or snake that my foot is about to tromp on... fortunately no poisonous snakes - at least not one that's bitten me - and it startles me every time. I remember catching lizards when I was a kid, one in particular that I brought home with me and proceeded to kill off. Not intentional...

So, does that mean you have found a good house to buy? Are you moved in yet? I might be moving too.

Well, I'm not saying your watering habits is what caused the white fly infestation, I really don't know anything about that.

zigzagbuddha received a best response in the discussion How can I lower my blood pressure? by captainmorgan.

I think stress is more behind high blood pressure than anything else. Of course I'm no doctor but still, that is my feeling about the subject. I do Yoga and highly recommend it as a stress reducer... I bet anything a regular Yoga practice would lower your blood pressure. Probably sooner than later too.

Boy it seems like everybody has been gone! I haven't been around much myself, but it's because I just got so bored with MyLot that I couldn't even stand to come here except only briefly every now and then. I have had to cut my hair which was a major traumatic experience for me. I got a very fun new job... which is almost impossible to do up here in these mountains! And I discovered Paul McKe...

Tattoos & Body Piercing

When I was 14 years old I was made a ward of the court and sent to a home for wayward girls run by a bunch of nuns. My best friend there was a Spanish girl named Anna Marie. She had a tattoo of a...

The Tyranny of the To-Do List

I used to keep a running to-do list. My lists always ended up getting out of control though, and growing to the length of a novel. So that in the end they didn't help me keep organized and only...
