Do You Wish There Were Dates on Discussions?

Personally I really wish there were dates on discussions so I would know if I was reading someones newest post or one of their older ones. This would be especially helpful because if someone responds to one of my discussions I like to respond to one of theirs but would prefer to respond to a newer one. Also for people I respond to a lot I would like to be sure that I am not responding to one that I have already responded to in the past.
Also dates would help us know if the discussion is still relavent to the persons life. Like if someone was getting divorced and wrote a post a year ago about it, and was asking advice, what ever I say would not be really relavent to their life now.
So do you agree with me, would you like to see dates on discussions, and possibly even responses?

Hi there!
If you notice just beside every post, at the right side of the page there is a time indicated. Like in your post it says 9 hours ago. So that would tell us how long a post has been posted. And every responds submitted is also timed so you know which topic and respond is the latest.
I think putting dates would be irrelevant too cause every post submitted has time and after 24 hours the time turns to days.

But if someone adds a comment in a response in he middle of the page one does not know that's the last addition unless the surf through the whole discussion.

Well.. actually you can see in the discussion, when the discussion is posted there in the up right of the post. You would be able to see xx minutes ago and for the older ones you would be able to see XX days ago, or xx weeks ago and for some posts I saw those with xx years ago. I think it is quite helping if you want to know which posts is new and which is old. I hope this would help you a little :)

That would be a great idea, plus another one is when we see our own discussion, we can tell whether or not we already gave the BR to that discussion...I am sure I missed some of my discussions in giving out BR's because of my computer being slow, it is very hard to browse around and to have to open up each and every post to see if I gave it out, can be time consuming..We could contact mylot, seems that when many people contact them about a similar topic, they consider it..

Yes! I do wish there were dates. The duration they give is not accurate, like 14 hours ago, two weeks ago and stuff like that. Sometimes I want to know how many posts I made, especially when I did not take note of the number in the beginning of my session. So it would hav ebeen easier for me to count if there were actual dates. I also wish we could have a search function on teh discussion we have responded to, according to dates or topics. Hope mylot admin takes note of these suggestions.

i think this is a good suggestion.we just can see the time reminder like "?? seconds/minutes/hours ago",it's not enough,there is no detailed date reminder such as "May 1st" and so on.follow your wish,i wish mylot will add this feature too

It does show the date.
Well it shows a time started only.
It goesw to days ago then months ago etc.
Never a date with the month and day etc posted.
But it is a general statement of the time it was started etc.

This says to the side it was posted 2 months ago. Do you get notices in your email like I do when a friend replies or comments on your post?
Not that I keep up here like I should, but as I've said before I intend for that to change.
