Any ideas what we can buy our 9 year old son for his main (big) xmas gift, price range £100. He has an indo ds, doesn't do techo. video games , pc etc. So pretty stuck, don't want to buy him a telly. Our 9 year old daughter we are going to buy a sewing machine as she likes to sew. Our 11 year son wants a running machine to help him get fit for football. So that just leaves our 9 year old son. We always find it hard to buy for at least one of them every year, this year it is his turn, but I also think we had problems finding him something last year as well. All ideas welcomed. Thanks

what about a trampoline if you have space for it. my cousin has just turned 9 and that is what he got for his birthday. he has had hours of fun with it but cannot play with it when it is raining. happy mylotting

Hiya Anne, It's so hard to know what to get them isn't it ? I have a 9 yr old lad and he wants a bike this year and I'm sure if you look around you will beable to get one within your price range, that's the only thing I can think of because I struggle myself with ideas for my children.

Well this is a tough one! I was going to say a nintendo Ds..already has. I was going to say a television...don't want to do that. What about skatebording. Do you think he would like a nice skateboard and accessories. or What about a hand held dvd player?

does he like to ride? has he already got a good bicycle? did you consider asking him if he had a choice what would he like? what other interests does he have?

Can't ask him as he still believes in Father Christmas. likes to play but we didn't want to buy lots of toys, doesn't like toys that you put together

well, if he still believes in Father Christmas it would be tough. but i guess you will get ideas from his interest these days... if he likes sports, you could give him something about his fave sports.

Hello Anne18 How about something along the musical line like a drum kit, or a guitar. Not sure how much they cost. I have got my 7 year old a nintendo ds this year but it will be his birthday present this year too as his birthday is January 6th!! Hope you find something for him soon, not long to go now!
