I decided to leave a "group" that left me feeling depressed most of the time. There are several nice people that I like in the "group", but I feel like if we are friends...we should still be friends outside of this "group" association. It's hard when you leave something without knowing what the future holds. What are your experiences like in the area of "groups". Do you think groups are to bring us together or do some feel like they are to exclude others?

What type of group are you talking about? is it an online group or a group in real life? If it is an online group you may run in to those friends again some day. I know I have in several groups I have left. many said they would keep in contact. But that faisl as well. I do have some I have left grousp with that we still email back and fourth for over 5 years.

Honestly groups can be used either way. It is more positive when it brings people together, but it does indeed make some people feel left out. If a group left you feeling depressed most of the time, you need away from it. No one needs to be constantly depressed. That is why when I find something that lifts me up, I hold on tight. Like myLot.
