Most of us usually go through this phase of having a crush on a teacher or professor. I used to have a crush on one of my college professor who used to teach us. I used to look forward to his lectures, and thought Im not the swooning type, I would feel a nice thrill every time he smiled at me. Well, once we passed out, that puppy love died, but then whenever I still meet him occassionally, I enjoy his company. Has this love touched your lives too.

I took this Introduction to Literature class back in college and my professor turned out to be a hottie. He always wore white T-shirts and jeans and wear this really cool cologne. I guess every girl in class had a crush on him. When he would read us stories we were all staring at him. I couldn't even hearwhat he was saying. It was crazy. When I he gave me an A+ on my first writing assignment, I went ballistic. I took another class with him in the next semester. When I learned he got married, I felt bad and forgot literature just like that.

Ouch, that must have hurt a lot. He sounds like a guy from the movies, tall and handsome, something we read in Mills and Boons. Im sure the whole class must have worn their hearts on their sleeves. It must have been really bad for you to have dropped literature on knowing he got married. Poor us.

I have a crush right now on my history teacher from last year (11th grade). I don't have his class anymore but I eat lunch in his classroom along with a lot of other kids. He's very well-liked among the students, both guys and girls, since he's incredibly funny and very understanding of our griping. I would obviously never dream of telling him I felt this way. For one thing, I adore how in love he is with his wife and kids, and for another, it would be a complete turn-off to me for a forty-year-old to like an eighteen-year-old student, so the whole thing's a bit of a paradox, really. XD Still, it does make me quite sad sometimes that I don't know anyone my age like him, but I know I'll find someone I like waaay more eventually. :) For now, it is sort of fun in a bittersweet way to feel those butterflies when I talk to him during lunch or pass him in the hallway.

Aw, thats too bad. Firstly he is so much older to you and then married at that. Well, you can always look for some part of his nature in your new friends. Actually, going for a persons nature and not his looks is a very thinking, for ultimately we have to live with his nature only. Looks fade away. Im sure you'll find somebody soon. Good luck.

When I was in high school I did have a crush on one of my teachers and on one of the substitute teachers, but so did almost every other girl in my school. They were very handsome men. But in college I didn't have a crush on any of my professors.

School days are days for puppy love and swooning, isnt it ? Even we went under this phase at some time in our school life. Now as you are growing older, you will wait to find the right guy. You will not be swayed so easily. Good luck and all the best.

hi kety, i had gone to an 'all-girl' school - with only female teachers, until i was 15. so naturally, when i started going to a 'co-ed' school, when i was 16, with male teachers, it was quite a 'shock' at first.. and at that age.. and being a 'normal' girl.. i did have a 'crush' on my teacher(s).. ( * crush = extra liked / extra preferred.. that would be my definition of the word) one teacher didnt teach any class, but he was 'good-looking' and i remember trying to get every chance to go to the teacher's lounge just to catch a glimpse of him.. one teacher - wasnt as good-looking, but was just plain 'nice'.. had quite a number of 'admirers' among the girls..

Looks like a bad case of puppy love ? You are still in the 9th grade, so you have your whole life before you and will get over this crush as we all got over ours, when you find real love in your life. Its a wonderful feeling to be liked. you musst have swooned when he hugged you. lol. Yes, sweetheart, you will get over him, all in the right time. Good luck.

When I was 14 yrs old I had a crush on my German language teacher. She was a German 40ish year old lady with typical blonde tall hair and blue beautiful eyes. There is no need to tell you that all my mates and a crush on her. I do suspect that most of us said a little prayer for her before sleeping :) © ronaldinu 2008

Wish I had known you at 14 ron, and that is the age when puppy love raises its head. Im sure she must have made all you guys go all gooey with blond hair and blue eyes. Do you still remember her after all those years. Guess all your prayers must have given her a solid boost in life. Thanks.

You are one of the few who have escaped this professor crush experienced by all growing up girls and boys.

Hello ketybhagat. Yes, I used to have a crush on my two professors back in college. I always look forward to their classes. I find them so intelligent and knowledgable and they're also good looking.

Oooooo, not one but two. Wow, that must have been great. Your heart must have gone thimp thump everytime you saw them. I guess when we find a guy interesting and go all gooey gooey about him, we see him as one in a million and then on top of that, good looks plus intellegence. I can understand. Who was your favourite.

i had a crush on my professor and it repeated 2 times already but i suddenly realize that i'm on a challenge of high school life, so what i did is to make things better by forgetting him and love his subject instead.

Very sensible of you. When in the threos of puppy love, ones education gets affected, so what you did was just right. Im sure you are now reaping the fruits of that decision. Cheers.

I'm 19 years old, and a freshmen in college. I have these feelings for my teacher that i don't understand. He's married, mid 30's, & he doesn't look like the type of man I'd go for. But he's so compassionate with his students and even though I have online classes I come in every Thursday just to hear lectures from him(which isn't required). I get this butterfly feeling when he's teaching and makes eye contact with me. I'm always prepared when I come into class to look the smartest just to impress him :) A guy in my class who is more around my age asked me out recently and for some reason I'm still more interested in my teacher?! I mean the guy who asked me out is very attractive and nice.... I know in reality I would not really want something to go on with my teacher and I, but its just so thrilling to think about & it makes learning so much more easier & fun :)

Yes I had a crush on one of my English professors; actually I still have one. He's not married, at least I think he's not because he doesn't have a ring. He is absolutely gorgeous. The funny thing is that there is some tension between our ethnic groups. The whole thing doesn't bother me, and I guess I find him more attractive because it's like forbidden fruit. Our ethnic groups can mix, but members of my family won't like it very much, and he is still my professor for a little while longer, so it would be wrong of me to act on it. Because it's wrong, it just makes him that much more appealing. I have embarrassed myself quite a few times, saying stupid things and acting flustered around him. I guess you can't help who you like. Most people go through their lives having a bit of a crush at least one of their professors or teachers.
