How many country exist in our earth ???

Your question is somewhat difficult to answer,as there is no one right answer, becuase many sources offer differents answers....,, so depending on your source, some say that there are 189, 191, 192, 193,194or 195 independent countries in the worl today.... according to the US Department!!!! There are 194 independent countries around the world..... The United Nation has 192 including Montenegroand Serbia the two newest nations. Vatican and Kosovo doesn't included... (as of May 1, 2008) While World Almanacs use 193 countries, which is probobly the best answer.

As I know, there are totally 196 countries. Among them,1992 countries have joined U.N. I hope my answer is right.

the last time i counted, it was 180. but with new countries appearing, like those small states declaring independence from russia, this number would increase.
