I am no great cook but I cook very well when I really pay attention to the oven and stuff. One time, my phone rang and I forgot the baked macaroni in the traditional oven. When I came back, the cheese are devastated though the taste isn't that bad. My brother ate a plate but the other members just couldn't take it so I gave the remaining to my cats. Have you experienced devastated meals before?

I am not a cook myself, but I suppose you can say I was not properly taught. I have made chicken and dumplings before, as well as barbeque chicken, even noodles with chicken broth, as we had no rice to go with the barbeque. I am great at making grilled cheese and french toast, I can even prepare bacon, but as you can see I am no great cook. Sometimes people get distracted while cooking, and I think that's the cause of many of my failed foods. Even if it is burnt it doesn't mean it's bad, and next time (if you get distracted) try just scraping the burnt cheese off, sometimes you'll find the inside tastes just as good! Have a wonderful day! oh and Happy Cooking!

You cooked my favorite foods. I could go for a grilled cheese, but I already ate.

I'm a pretty decent cook but even the best cook can make mistakes. I have problems when making simple dishes, such as meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy. Once I made a meatloaf that turned out soooo bad that our dog even turned his nose up at it. And mashed potatoes, it took me years to get them almost right but just recently I managed to mess them up too. My husband referred to them as wallpaper paste. Normally, now, my gravy turns out almost fairly well.

I am surprised that your cats would eat macaroni and cheese Yes, that has happened to me before, I can not remember what the meal was, but I do know that it was really bad and I had to throw it away. I think it may have been meatloaf. I tried a new meatloaf recipe and it did not come out good at all. I wouldn't even give that to my cats.
