you can report the company to the better business bureau. Just go to bbb.com. Don't feel bad, and you are too pretty to be stupid..I sure am smooth ain't I..lol. It's happened to me before. we all have times when we want to make extra money and some of us try things. I find myself ready to jump in and try new things to this day but I never go through with it anymore because there are too many scams out there. Try this website. I think it's called Workathomenoscams.com. It's a legit company that shows the legitimate work at home jobs, and some of the scams. I joined a free survey site from them that actually pays everytime you take a survey. I've made a total of $6. That should be enough for my dream vacation to hawaii. I hope this helps, and don't let this scam get you down. we all go through things in life, it's a learning process. Let's just say this is the 2nd lesson you've learned so far.lol. I never thought of it before, but try googeling the company you are about to join before doing it to see if any blogs come up from people who have been scammed by the same company. Don't be to down on yourself, after all, there will allways be someone like me waiting to kick you while you're allready down..lol.

What's with all the negativity? You're NOT stupid and I don't want to see that posted here anymore! When I get scammed (and that's rare), I make sure to post about it on my websites and blogs. I'm actually willing to take some risks these days just to prove whether a site is a scam or not. I actually invested in a high-yeild investment program for the first time in my life! Go figure. Please do share the name of the company that took advantage of you. It will help others avoid being scammed as well. Cheers. Stan

We must really be careful. Almost all of these data entry companies requiring some membership fees are just that -- SCAM. And inorder for you to recoup your membership fees you have to promote the same scam to others. What a shame! And believe it or not, they are actually promoting some affiliate programs requiring you to invest more. Now, these affiliate programs you can actually be a member for free. Don't waste money on there. I better be risking my money in Autosurf rather than with these data entry companies.

Hi mariefe, Yea i know how you feel.I too have gone through that. but the lesson should be well learnt that if they ask you to pay, then you'll automatically know they are a scam

If I invested some amount in a site and it turned scam, I immediately try to get refund. Some payment processors such as Alertpay are very helpful in expediting refunds. Afterward, I help spread the news about the site. I open topics in forums where I am a member if there are no threads about the particular site, if there is, I share my experience and opinion. Aside from those, I also update my blog and make sure I posted the newest information. That way, those who are visiting my blogs will be warned. Lastly, I try to analyze to see if there were things I should have done beforehand to avoid getting scammed. Oh, I'm sorry, the last part is actually laughing at myself for my mistake of not seeing the "scam signs" in the beginning and for learning additional lesson.
