if someone tells you you are ugly, how would you react?

hi philip, I'd be very offended of course. I mean, nobody was born to be flawless so nobody has the right to tell me that I'm ugly. But I had an experience before with my bestfriends. I overheard them backbiting me, criticizing me for some unpleasant aspects of my face and body. That time, I was pretty insecure about a lot of things physically and they just added insult to my injury so I felt bad. But I never told them I overheard them until now. They are both pretty, but I have skills and talents that they don't have so now, I have come to terms with myself, I shouldn't feel bad. Nobody is perfect.

i would not mind that much. What is the use of being beautiful and have a bad heart ...

I had never bothered to listen to them even how they do describe something what made me looks ugly most of them say that my teeth are the ones who disbeauty my looks but I don't believe them. I just let them say what they want to say it doesn't matter, because they don't matter to me anyway. Those people who matters to me they adore me for who I am not with my looks. Happy mylotting.

To be all honest I can type what I would say to that person because it will be against the guidelines and they may want to kick me off so my comment is not right for this.

You are a sarcastic person, right? I would not compare myself with a person who tells this kind of thing to me. I would simply avoid and restrict my communication with this person. Not because I am afraid or angry at them, simply I do not like to communicate with shallow people. Is it worthy to communicate with people who criticize the way how I look? Something that is given to me by the nature and that I can not change? I don`t think so. And even if I could change, I would not do it. And especially because SOMEBODY told me to do so. Obviously they have against me, so I would not stay in touch with such persons.

ouch! i wouldn't know how to react, honestly!.. i haven't been to this situation and i really hope i won't be in this situation! =)

I just dont let it bother me....Looks shouldn't matter anyways should be perosnality in person that counts...Looks aint everything!

Lol Nice one. Oh well.. usually I would just say that yeah but I am adorable. And ugly + adorable = cute!

Well, i actually don't mind. Sometimes i would reply, "it doesn't matter, at least i have a lovely husband now, haha".
