When was the last time you clapped your hands because you were happy or excited and not just for the sake of clapping.

The last time I clapped my hands it was to kill a bug....heh, heh, sorry, I couldn't resist. I like to jump when I am happy. It is a good thing we have a rebounder/mini-trampoline. While you are happily clapping your hands I will jump for joy

Both are exhilarating, I think, at least for a while. Ii'll go see if I can still clap and jump at the same time...yeppers, I'm back. But it is 2am here and we have neighbors through the wall, so I'd better not do that too much. They might be sleeping.

You're going all out here, drannhh. Both? That's like a jumping jack! Better not wake up your neighbors. Hope you had a good night's sleep.

It's okay, drannhh. I am one to kill bugs too. Boyfriend likes to take them outside and set them free. I don't think I've ever been in a trampoline. I'd like to try one. I remember your mini-trampoline. Which is more exhausting though? Clapping hands or jumping? Either way it doesn't really matter because the reason we're doing them is a good one.

That would be yesterday. That was the last time I clapped my hand when my 1+ year old son pointed to the kangaroo when I asked him to show me which animal is the kangaroo in his little book. So, that were many claps of pure excitement and not just for the sake of clapping. For a toddler who have just started to differentiate animals, shapes, people, etc to show his progress is such a big fun for the parents and I am having that fun moment now, watching my son grows up. I have been clapping a lot this past one year or so. I clapped when he made his first smile, first laugh, first word, took his first steps, and many more first that he have achieved this far. I guess I will be clapping for many more years to come and I am really looking forward to clapping for those great moments in my life. By the way, I did clap for another thing as well yesterday. That was when we managed to grab some free seats on AirAsia to fly from Kuala Lumpur to Jakarta and then Jakarta to Surabaya and back to Jakarta and finally back to Kuala Lumpur. We would be doing that in September next year. It was a big clapping moment for all of us when we got that. Cheers!

Congratulations, Beruang! I do hope and know you'll be clapping for many more years to come when your son grows up. I always enjoy reading stories about kids' firsts. It's just way too cute and promising! Enjoy your air travel next year. Thanks and take care.

What's the game of scratching? I was just telling glords that I'm 28 and I still clap when I get happy or am laughing too loud and I get excited. I guess I will always be that 5 year old kid. Hey, you can add this to my list of what I did lately that's being a child at heart. Thanks, mou. You feeling much, much better now?

Hi SaintAnne! I got so excited last Tuesday when I conducted a writing workshop to a bunch of students for our school paper..I clapped my hands because I was so excited and happy about the ideas their dormant minds ever created out of the given activity..hehehe!

Well, that's what you're there for, mjmlagat, to turn the dormant into very active and explosive!!! Keep conducting those workshops. You should clap for what you're doing and achieving as well. I always enjoyed writing for our high school paper. Thanks!

Congratulations on your first payout, CJay. It is exciting!!! I also enjoy the high fives. And I would clap just as long as I knock down a few of those pins when bowling, how much more a strike? Thanks, CJay!

I am not inclined to clap my hands much. I tend to jump up and down when I get excited. Probably the last time I was clapping my hands out of excitement was caught on film... I was VERY excited about the beautiful birthday cake with the glowing candles sitting in front of me!

Jumping up and down or clapping your hands, it does not matter... pure excitement and happiness that makes you do this without even thinking about it is an experience every one should go through. Birthday cakes with glowing candles always bring out the little girl in me. Thanks, passingfancy and welcome to myLot!

I'm not sure about the comments after one's responses. Sometimes they get credited, sometimes they don't. But your post number will go up once you respond. And I think they also give you one post number the first time someone responds to your discussion you started. But I really do not know how that all works. Sending you cyber cookies and lemonade from the cyber welcoming committee.

Thank you for the warm welcome SaintAnne... I feel like I have just been greeted by the welcoming committee... where are the cookies and lemonade??? Hahahaha! Actually, I am just conducting an experiment here. So far it looks like I am only being credited for one response and one comment per discussion. I won't know if I get credit for this comment until after I post it of course, but I do not think I will, since I already commented up above.

Hello Dolly!!! Get it? I very much enjoyed Wall_E but Finding Nemo is still my favorite. I just adore Pixar movies, let's just say that. Just as long as you're keeping yourself happy, elitess. You can show it another way like drannhh does. She jumps for joy in her mini-trampoline while I clap my hands. Thanks!

Oh I didn't realized I wasn't actually clapping my hands for a long time. I remembered I thought the last time I clapped my hands was when I was still active in our prayer meetings few years ago. Imagined that? We were singing and so jolly that we were clapping our hands and stumping our feet. Now I haven't done it again. But thanks for reminding me, I will clap my hands right now. lol. yehhheeyy!

I hate clapping for the sake of being polite time after time. Uh. I remember singing that song in Japanese in class, and it was really fun, in my freshman year. I can't remember, but it may have been when my friends had just told me something... good news I guess.

I always like to hear songs sung in different languages. We did sing this song too in Filipino as well as our own dialect. Good news is something worth clapping for. Thanks, wunovakind.

Yesterday! When I learned that effective December 1, 2008. I'll be promoted into next level in Front Office Department! I am so excited and overwhelmed because at last after the long wait, the company's promise came to reality. I really liked my promotion because I think my hard work and the stress I got here would be worth the wait. Thanks Everyone! ^^,

Well, we have sports fan, a loyal Indian team cricket fan. Congratulations! Your team won. I rarely watch sports anymore but I used to root for this local basketball player in the Philippines and I was always elated when his team won and would get very upset when they lose. Thanks, bhanusb and celebrate good times, come on!!!
