THANKSGIVING -- WHERE ARRRRRRRE YOUUUUU??? Oly Oly Oxen Free (thats what we said when we played hid n seek if you didn't know that) It seems that Thanksgiving is lost!! I can't seem to find it any where. Not on TV, not in the News Paper, not on MyLot, not in the stores! I just can't seem to find it burried in all this Christmas stuff!!! Can you tell me where it went? Is it still a celebrated holiday? Yes I am being a bit sarcastic but really I would like to know why Thanksgiving is skipped in stores, on TV, every thing!

I would like to know that too. It seems like we go from Halloween to Christmas and not Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving and wish they would celebrate it more. We need more Thankfulness in this world instead of just thinking about what we can get from everyone.

I did see a lot of Halloween decorations but even that stuff was put on the back burner from the Christmas stuff! Its making me crazy! I know thta stores are hurting with the way the economy is right now but pushing Christmas like this makes me want to run away from it! No wonder there is so much stress around the holidays!! And I SOOOOO agree we need more thankfulness in this world!!

Honestly Im not sure I know every year my family used to get together over my grandma. But now that shes older they have all started coming to my house. I love having all my family around. Its a good thing I can cook and bake to because that would be one big unhappy mob if I couldnt. Did not have the time or money this year to even look or think about buying anything new so I had never noticed if there was not anything out in the stores.

It just seems like we passed Thanksgiving up this year - Christmas carols are already playing on the radio. Commercials on TV. "Black Friday" sales are in every store every week and its not even Thanksgiving. I remember the days where you didn't hear or think about Christmas until AFTER Thanksgiving!

Interesting, how the stores went from Halloween right to Christmas. Now WalMart does still have an aisle with some fall towels and tablecloths - but other than that. Let's see Kohl's - one display, Target, stuff is on clearance already. I'd like to see some Thanksgiving decor besides all these scarecrows that seem to be the rage this year. I still have my candles and fall leaves on the dining table. Right after Thanksgiving we go straight to Christmas decorations here tho.

I noticed that at Kohls too! I understand there isn't much to sell for Thanksgiving but do we have to have all the Christmas stuff out already!?!? This is why there is soooo much stress this time of year!

I would like to wonder this game question. It seems like everyone is more into Christmas then they are thanksgiving. But I think both holidays should be appreciated but alot of stores barely have any thanksgiving stuff in there anymore they always put the christmas stuff up b4 then. I find it quite weird! I prefer thanksgiving better I love me turkey! Christmas is just wayyy to expensive but thank god it's only once a year!

Well maybe I should have gone there!! It seems our stores skip right over it. I mean I know there isn't much to "sell" for Thanksgiving but really why put out all the Christmas stuff before we even get to Thanksgiving. I remember when you didn't see even one Christmas wreath before Thanksgiving!
