What do you think of the church

Many people have been talking on this forum about whether or not church should be held in a building, or just with friends. Do you think the bible urges us towards a large gathering of believers? Where do you think the church is in today's society and where do you think we should be? Do you feel that new believers should be able to hold important church offices? Or should that be reserved for more mature christians? I'd love to hear from all of you and I'll be throwing my opinions in as well.

Go to the New Testament, King James Version, and read what Jesus told the Apostles when He sent them out to teach. In Matthew and Mark Jesus sent out the 12 Apostles but in Luke Jesus sent out 70. In Matthew and Mark Jesus told the Apostles to go into a city and inquire who was worthy and stay with them until they moved on. In Luke Jesus told the 70 to enter the "House". Jesus set his true church up in the homes of the people. His church was to spread from one neighbor to another and from one family member to other members. The children were to grow up in a way that when they married and set up their own home it was also to be their church. God through the Holy Ghost was to be the helping force in the homes. Not only to personally teach family members but also to use one family member to heal another when they were sick or hurt. It is very simple the way Jesus set it up and will do anything we will ever need to do concerning God and Jesus. People, true believers, are to have a one on one personal relationship with God and there is not supposed to be any man between us and God. That is after we have been Anointed with the Holy Ghost. Up to that point God is to teach us, the children of the home, through our parents. The church down the street is man's work, not God's. With Jesus' true church there is to be no money involved in our relationship with God. If you do it the way Jesus set it up there is no profit in it. Any ministry that is being supported by money if the money stops then so does the ministry. This is not God's way of doing business. What God actually builds cannot be destroyed, this includes you and me also.

I don't think it should matter where people assemble to practice their faith. I think as long as you are comfortable with where you are practicing your faith that is all that should matter.

In my opinion it does not matter if it is in a building or in a house. In the Bible it says that if two or more people gather in my name, I will be there in their midst. As long as you gather and pray and learn from the Gods word it can be held anywhere. People these days do have a church as the gatherings grow and the activities of the church increase.
