Yes, absolutely it's a scam. The people who run the national lottery don't send out emails. The winning ticket numbers are announced on TV, and they expect the winners to contact them, not the other way round. In fact, they have no way of knowing who the winners are until they come forward, as they don't take your details when you buy a ticket.

You would immediately know that it is a SCAM itself even without trying to dig deeper in that email itself. The very first thing that would come out in my mind is that, how come they have sent you an email if you did not participate in such kind of lottery? Why are they sending you some emails that you won this amount if in the first place you don't have any participation in the lottery. It is something that rings a bell in your mind.

Yes, i have been receiving all sorts of emails asking me to contact them for my details. So, many that there are times that my inbox gets full and i just delete them all. I wish that they stop sending me such emails cause it is really annoying.

yes. this is a scam and i had been getting them almost every other day telling me that i had won. i think the amount is about 2million and u are required to contact a person to give him your details. so dun believe them and give them your details. you can read or search on them. many pp had received similar emails from them all the time
