today i went to the beach with my dad and my sister. the beach is so close where i live so it really is a part of my life. i go at least every other weekend and i go with friends too. there's different beaches and sometimes we go to the one with the pier and you can go out on it. its really fun i cant imagine for places that have no beaches. does your city have a beach? or one close?

Usually cities in the Philippines are adjacent to beaches. It is where the people depend for livelihood. I'm a marine biology student and we usually go out to the beach to have our laboratory activities and to conduct some studies.

In my hometown there are two beaches near in our house. It's just a walk away. I usually go there especially during holidays where I could have a chance to go home and have a vacation. The beach is not so expensive either so I am so lucky I live there.

Sad to say... there is no beach where i live... the nearest is like 1 hour and 30 minutes away... if i will travel on a private vehicle... but if i use public transportation... it might take 3 hours... it would certainly be nice to have a beach nearby... so that we have an option instead of going to the mall... My mother's house in the province is so near the beach... that is why i enjoy my visit there a lot when we visited the place...

im lucky enough to be about 15 minutes driving to the closest beach. but if i drive farther i can go to nicer beaches there's less people and you can find really nice shells and sand dollars and ive found over 20 star fish there too. thanks.

I live in a landlocked state. Ohio. I hate it! I miss the beach. I'm going to be moving soon. I'm hoping to pick a state where there's a beach. You are so lucky!

I stay in the west coastal side of India. there is a beach very close to my house.. 15 minutes drive.. i usually go there with my friends and we sit and talk for hours.. many people come there for walk in the evening.. its a small beach and usually its not very crowded as there are many beaches in and around my city..

Where I live is a place that snows through November till March. I live smack dab in the middle of Winnipeg and we don't have real beaches. Just some artificial lame dugout thing in he sand that people made. If they're talking about the Winnipeg beach thingy then that's like almost a lake. What I know of a beach is the blue water (sea or ocean), sun, sand, beach activities happening on there.
