Many students dislike math, physics and algebra. I like it though when I was a student. What about you, what were your favorite subjects? Are there women who prefer sciences and math more than English and literature? It has been proven in some researches that there are more men who prefer math and algebra...why is this so? can you contribute your notion about this topic?

For me it was a love of English...in fact I wanted to be an English teacher. I love to read....was mesmerized by poetry....and love writing.....I hated math! I did like history too though.....but didn't care for science!

I enjoyed maths - all I have to do, is understand the rationale and the formulas, and it's easy to score. Maybe it's because I like logic and facts, and also because I'm not artistic or creative at all.

Back then, I really like English and Social Studies. I was so interested on those two subjects in school. Apart from the good teachers I had, I really enjoyed the lessons and all the topics in there. I can all relate to them. Enjoy your day!

Many students hate math, physics and algebra as they are the hardest subjects to master. . .and it is the same case for me too. I love subjects that are more creative in nature though such as English, music, and art. I think men prefer math and algebra more is because they don't need to be creative with it. Just get and show the answer and that's it. Most women like to be creative in most statistics I've ever heard or read about which is why they excel at the more creative subjects. I've heard from someone in my class, who was a guy that had a female English professor that she'd favored the females over the males since she thought the girls were better writers lol. Not to say there aren't some guys out there that can't express themselves in words rather than action, but it is usually girls who are better.
