Russian Spy in Nato may have passed US Missile Shield Secrets

Hermann Simm has been arrested and charged with passing secrets to Russia about the US missile Shield systems and other countries military in Nato. From the reports it sounds like he worked for NATO in a high power position and had access to some of the countries in Nato secrets. The news said he had access to all top secret documents. How should be done with this man? What can we do to make sure this does not happen again? Should this change our relationship with Russia, not to mention all the rest of the nations in NATO?
