hmm OK Now that is a web application How do I boot to it if I remove my Windows OS. I can't so what is the sense of having a web based OS (Operating System) if I have to keep the OS on my computer at home. Now what this OS is an web based application manager everything is kept on the web, and you can access it from any computer that is a good option but you still need you computer with Windows, Linux, or Mac operating systems on it. If you cant boot up your computer to access a web browser to get to this new OS then that is a problem and this OS needs a new Name, like maybe a Web Applications Manager which is what it is

A WebOS need a real OS and a browser, it not an OS it's just a name, the only thing they're good for it's to have a slick interface to manage your files on the web and use little apps on another computer, but for that you have portable apps, you can even have linux, a real OS, with real programs on a pendrive.

I'm hearing about it for the first time. You need an operating system installed on your local machine to run you applications and other programs.I think a web based operating system is when we connect to the internet. From the internet we can use features that we do on our local operating system. All the files we store in that system are stored on the server.
