do you respond to a discussion even if the discussion has marked a best response

I respond to a discussion which I consider interesting.If the discussion already marked as best response I don't bother.First I choose my friend's discussion. My friends get first preference to me.You may noticed this.I think one should come forward to help his or her friends.I always believe the saying:'A friend in need is a friend indeed'. Do you believe so? Thank you my good friend.

since getting the Best Response doesnt do anything for your earnings, there isnt a reason why you shouldnt reply to a given discussion, as long as you have something relevant to say of course. i usually do reply to a discussion with a best response already chosen IF what i have to say isnt exactly like what everybody else has already posted lol!

Hi there asisaellis Sure I would still respond to a discussion that had already had a best response chosen. Especially if the discussion is still only a few days old like you I still want to get point across or want to contribute to the discussion.

I guess I have to reply to a discussion even if there already has been a best response marked, simply because what I have to say is mine and whatever it is that I want to say is in no way connected with someone elses response other than just another response to the topic.

Rating or no rating, best or worst, short or long it really does nto make any difference to me. ianswer a dicussion when i like the discussion. I do not even read the responses of people before i respond. i respond first and then read the other responses. Even then i do not see if a response has been marked as best response. i enjoy the discussions and that is what counts.

Yeah, I do. It's not my goal to be the best responder, it's just a nice extra if I get chosen to be one. =P If I find a discussion interesting, no matter how many posts it has or how good competitors they were for best post, I'll reply to it. For me, it's a matter of sharing ideas and voicing opinions rather than collecting best responses. Most of the time, I don't even pay attention as to if a best response has been chosen by the maker of the discussion or not. Of course, I also like being best responder because it shows that the person appreciated effort I put into replying. It's nice looking at my profile and seeing that I've been chosen as the best response a couple of times. It feels like you're going somewhere and that people are recognizing you. Being best responder is nice, but sharing ideas is definitely my priority here on myLot. ^_^

I do. I am still seeing many people giving the best response within a few hours of opening the discussion and I think this is most unfair to those myLotters who do care whether they earn BR or not. IMO I only give a BR after the discussion has been posted for at least a week. Not everyone is on myLot 24/7 just waiting for the newest discussion to be posted.

i still respond if i like the discussion. in many cases the user select the best response very early. so I still respond to it if its according to liking.

I agree with the other responses to your discussion, best responses don't really add to your earnings so it shouldn't matter much. And although it does feel good to be given a best repsonse I usually respond to discussions where I have something to say or those that interest me. Earnings or not the best response don't really matter to me much.

I respond to discussion even if it already has a best response. It doesn't matter to me as I don't really after to be mark as a best response. I'd say what on my mind is what really important to me though being a best response is an extra achievement for me.

I do still respond to a discussion if it is something that is of interest to me. I don't see why we shouldn't respond to discussions that have been marked with a best response. Absolutely. If I have an opinion on the topic and can add something constructive I will certainly respond. I have an opinion on a wide range of topics so there is always something I can comment on even though I might be a little late in the lineup.

Yes ,I will respond to the discussion if I have something to say.If a discussion is easy to reply,I will write as more as I can ,I think the man who posted it also hope more people to respond even though the discussion has marked a best response.We can earn more through joining in the discussion,so most mylotters don't mind this. Yes i would also still responsed because you should responsed as much as possible im sure thats what everyones doing trying to earn some extra cash while having fun.

If I have something to add to the discussion that has not already been covered by other members then yes I will still respond. As far as I now getting a best response has no bearing at all on the earnings we make, so why shouldn't we still respond. I have noticed that membes have different ways of doing things in that some give out a best response within hours of the discussion being started and others do not do it till sometime in the future. If I was to choose to not respond when a best response has been given out within a few hours of the discussion starting, then there would be a lot less discussions available for me to comment on. The best response is given out by the person who starts the discussion and is based on their opinion as to who deserves it. Their criteria might be for the person who makes the longest response or the opposite of that, one of their friends, who responded first etc. That does not mean that any further comments or responses will not add something more or new to the discussion.

I still respond to discussions with a myLot member marked as "best response". Before I respond I make sure that the topic interests me, regardless of how many people have already responded, regardless whether no one has responded yet, regardless the time it was posted, even if it has been resolved already. I know I am entitled to my own opinion and whether people like it or not, I'll be posting my responses to your topics that I find really, really interesting. Even if this discussion have its "best respondee" already (good thing there is none yet), I'd still post my response since this is one simple question most people would never really thought of hearing and answering.

I'm not answering questions to get a best response mark. I'm answering them to answer them. I also don't answer every topic. I pick and choose. I am here to make money, but on the same hand, I'm not going to waste a lot of my time responding to things that I don't care about. I don't even pay attention as to whether a "best response" has been chosen. I do rate every topic I respond to as positive. I feel if it got me to respond, it's worth the positive, even if I disagree with what has been said.

Even if a response to a discussion has already been marked as having the best argument, I would still give a response if I think it can contribute further to the quality or content of the discussion. Usually if I am not the first to respond I would skim through all the responses and comments. If I had nothing to add I would move on. All my responses so far were not altered in an attempt to get a best response vote.

yes but of ccourse!!!! when I joined myLot and started answering topics, I never knew that you would be recognize if you have a best response. I dont know about this. I only know a while ago that I've been congratulated for the best response i've answered. It was so funny because the topic that I've given a response never one of my interests selected.Anyways, that happens to be the best part of myLotting. That encourages me more to reply any topics as long as I feel to do so even if theres already somebody been recognized as " best response" I dont care..as long as I can show and express to the world what's in my thought and in my mind...cheer up..keep on replying, show to the world that we are here alive, active and ready to rumble here on mylot...so long friend..

Yes why not i always responded to best response but i am not responded only best even i responde simple response also. Every response is important for me for earning money and by this way i will always touch with my mylot friend.
