I made my first dollar in a freelancing site where I bid upon one of the projects and was ultimaely selected for article writing. I accumulated about a hundred dollars for a month in my paypal. However, the deadlines were too hectic and I got totally stressed out, with my fulltime job. How about you?

I was a little disappointed when I earned my first couple of dollars. At the time I didn't have a paypal account set up and so I opted for the money to be sent to me in the form of a cheque. After completing a couple of surveys on Netvertix they sent out my cheque but being a UK resident they said I would have to pay a fee of twelve pounds to convert it and because it was such a low amount to cash it would incur yet more fees. Wasn't too happy but like to keep the un-cashed cheque as a momento of my first online site payout.

Thanks for the response. You never know you have your hard earned money from these sites till you encash it completely. For example, we Indians were also crippled by many such terms on the legitimate paying sites. It has been since 2007 that paypal allowed the bank account verification so that many of us heaved a sigh of relief.

Back in March I was paid my first dollar by PayPal, from an article directory site. There were no payments made for articles submitted, but my dollar was a small prize awarded to the Best Article of the Week! Later that month I was paid $4 from a forum that was paying for posts, and I received £6 ($12) from a British website for some writing I did for them. Every month since then I have been recieving more payments from several sites I have been writing for. These have been bigger and better payments and my income has been increasing each month. MyLot has paid me more than $100 altogether, and one writing site has earned me another $300. This is just the start for me. I intend to be earning around $1000 each month online, by this time next year.

Thanks for the response. I am really amazed at your article writing prowess. The article writing site I joied paid measly but regularly and I earned about 100 dollars for my first project, but due to my full time job, I had to leave that. Hope you achieve your target this year itself.

I made my first dollar here in mylot. I am new here in earning money online and mylot was introduced to me. When I read the Frequently Asks Questions, I think it's a nice idea to earn money as well as learning and socializing.
