How many SO CALLED FRIENDS do you have? / myLot

I have known this person for at least twenty years, we worked together at two different jobs for an extended period of time. I loaned her money, gave her rides, since she didn't drive etc. Actually the last job I worked at she recommended me. I worked there for five years then I was laid off. I was re hired then laid off again in June. Sine the day I was laid off until now I have not heard one word from her, she has not called to see how I am doing or anything, it has been five months. It hurt me because the day I left I did not get a chance to say anything to anyone. I was just wondering, what kind of friend is this?

I have learned not to count on friends too much, I have always been the giver in friendships and I have found in the last few years when I could have used a bit of a lift from friends no one was there for me, I think I get more loyalty from my cat and I think it is sad...it is a very sad world these days..and yet I can't help myself I am still there for any friend in need, sometimes I think of myself as being a fool...I hope things work out for you my friend
