Maybe you could find a lot of resources and good advice on the Internet. There are many sites which is quite beneficial for you. And I just took the GRE in this June, I use a lot of resources from the Internet, and the people on the Internet also give me much great advice. Good luck with you!

If you're an engineer you probably already have the math skills necessary and won't need to study that much. But the English section will probably require more studying. For me, I bought one of those books with a word list to study and I'm making flash cards and audio CDs of the words.
