My husband drinks this all the time. My grandmother drank it too. I only use it in cooking/baking.

My husband loves it, and introduced it to me. I like it a lot. I love to use it in baking a lot. Even pancakes taste better with it.

I only use it to bake with when we have it in the house. Hubby will drink most of it before I can get it into a recipe!

Drink a buttermilk? I always thought buttermilk is for cooking. Now that I found out that we can drink it, I might have to try it to see what it taste like.

My husband loves to drink buttermilk, as long as it is served cold.

Nope, don't drink it. I don't even know where to find it at a grocery store if that tells you anything.

I don't like buttermilk straight, but I do use it in cooking. And I love buttermilk pancakes, and other baked goods. I never thought to try drinking it straight.

I really don't think you'd like this in a milkshake. Buttermilk is thick but I wouldn't try to make a milkshake with it.

Hi! Oh, I can't stand the taste of buttermilk to just drink it. I don't mind cooking or baking with it. Mostly I use it to marinate chicken - it makes it very tender. :-)

My mom drinks it alot - I think she puts salt in it??? I think it's nasty. I haven't had it since I was a kid though, so sometimes your tastes change. Don't know if I want to re-try it though...

My husband father drank buttermilk. I would never drink it, the only time I use buttermilk is in cooking or in my cake that I bake. It makes the cakes really moist.

My mother loved drinking buttermilk. We would make our own butter and Mom would pour off the buttermilk and drink it.

I have never tried it ... I'm like you I have only ever used it in baking... What do they say it tastes like? IS it just creamier and buttery?

i love buttermilk, my father drank it al the time and I would drink it with him when I was small, I love to soak my cornbread in it. And it gives good flavor to biscuits and pancakes. It also puts a coating on the lining of your stomach, when you have an upset stomach. it is good for you. i put it in a cup with a little salt and pepper on top of it, really good.
