Some say that its ok to use a shampoo that is not expensive because its just for cleaning your hair, and better to buy an expensive conditioner because its gives moisture to your hair.

I think what is important is, are the shampoo and conditioner you bought really effective? Quality should be first considered in buying a product. So, if using inexpensive shampoo with expensive conditioner really works for you then I think there's no problem with that. Just use products that works well for you. As we all know, we have different hair types that needs different care and treatment.

Hi friend, I think most shampoo are for cleaning purposes only so it is alright if you choose the cheaper one as long your hair and scalp are being clean and doesnt make it dry and frizzy. About conditioner i personally choose those who make my hair strong for usually i got falling hair because of it. I choose conditioner that make my hair shinny and soft and less hair fall too.

That somewhat makes sense to me however I don't usually use conditioner for my hair. I buy shampoo that is usually on sale because it can get expensive. Conditioner makes my hair feel greasy sometimes.
