any party UNINVITED ?? With a group of friends or alone? Sometimes it happens that a few friends are invited and they insist the other friends of the group also to join. There's a movie called "wedding Crashers" , if am correct. Though I have not seen the movie, i have heard it deals with the same thing. Tonight I am also likely to attend a wedding ceremony. Usually there is so much of crowd that it is quite not possible to notice. Have you ever??

Not a wedding, no! But I have definitely turned up at many, many parties uninvited when I was a teenager! It was a pretty common thing to gatecrash a know party when I was in school and pretty much everybody did it. I had an 18th birthday surprise party thrown for me many years ago and around 40 people were invited. By the time midnight came there were well over 250 people there! lol. This was not unusual at all.

Party Crashers!! Thats what majority are. lol. A teenage not gatecrashed, is a teenage wasted. But 250 in place of 40 ?? Was the place big enough. What about snacks and drinks? Did anyone get even a glass of water? Usually it's at the most 100 in place of 75 or so. but this one just outdid any sane proportion. One thing's for sure. You must have been quite popular and friendly. Well done!!

Hi daffodil! Nope! Can't say that I've ever gone to a wedding uninvited! But, I don't especially like going to weddings much anyways even when I am invited! I'm not big on crashing parties either. I will go if I'm invited sometimes. I have crashed parties, but not the kind that is formal and you really need to be invited to. I just would never think of crashing something like a wedding. They usually are sit down events where they only have enough place settings for invited guests so I would never want to feel that uncomfortable and out of place. I guess it depends on the type of wedding that you are crashing!

Here wedding evening is a madhouse event and there is often too much crowd for anyone to notice them easily. So you are right ,it depends upon the type of wedding one is crashing. Luckily for me too, never have gone uninvited. Always with family.

The wedding that I am going to attend tonight is the one where my family has been invited. Forgot to mention the proper Invited part in the main discussion above. lol

Not me. I rarely go to the ones I aAM invited to. There is no chance in the world I would crash somebody's party uninvited. I sneaked into a zoo once, though, when it was about to close anyway and I didn't want to pay the whole day's price just to see one animal. Does that count?

There was a friend of a friend getting married. i work with a wedding planner and had to decorate for this girls wedding and my friends insisted that i go. I knew the girl because she was my friends' roommate so I knew her... but I didn't get an invite but she was still excited to see me there.

So you were welcome there. Sometimes we miss out a few people whom we want to invite.

I've never gone to a wedding uninvited. However, I have been to several parties (college parties) when I wasn't invited. I would go with a friend or a big group of people who new the host of the party. I don't think I would go to a wedding uninvited, unless I was going as someone's date. But that still sorta counts as being invited.

A wedding scene here is very different with hundreds of people and too much of crowd. So it is easier to go to a wedding uninvited than to a party.lol
