Acorn Squash?

This is the time of year for different squashes.
Does anyone have a different recipe for acorn squash?
I really enjoy eating it, but tired of home I normally prepare it: roasted in the over stuffed with apples, raisins, brown sugar and nuts.

I have never heard of acorn squash before. I bet I would like the acorns but not sure about the squash.
