There are a lot of sites that pay you; my personal favourite is squidoo. Check out my lens on earning money online with writing http://www.squidoo.com/freelancewritingoninternet http://www.earnonlinemoney.co.uk/getpaidtowrite.html

If you enjoy writing about the news, Digital Journal is a very good place for picking up a decent amount of extra money. You're paid for views and ratings, but the pay is much better than on most sites. I wrote for them for a while and was happy with the pay, but I got bored writing about news. A few people are making practically a full-time career out of it. You will need to branch out from music if you expect to make much money on the web. There are a lot of good blogs about developing a freelancing career, and you can start by Googling freelance writing. One blog that I like very much is Freelance Writing Income From Home. The URL is http://ravens-writing.blogspot.com/ It isn't my site, and it isn't a referral. It's a blog where I've found a lot of very useful information, written by someone who's developing her own freelancing career.
