Islamic discrimination.

Recently I came across a news article, that a Hindu woman was suing the Malaysian government, this was because she was treated as an alien even though she was a citizen of Malaysia,and the sad part was this Hindu woman was 6 months pregnant at that time, and the Malaysian government put her in a Prison even though she was their own citizen. This happened only because she was not a Muslim, this kind of discriminations happen even in the so called civilized Muslim countries like Malaysia, the Malaysians would like the Christians and Hindus to come as tourists and spend their hard earned money, but for them, except Muslims rest are second or third rate people.

This is true of all Islamic nations and societies. Muslims do not accept other religions and people of other faith are like second-class citizens in Islamic nations but in other countries, Muslims want and expect themselves to be treated as equals, if not special. You cannot freely build a temple in an Islamic nation but Muslims want to build mosques in every part of the world they go

You are absolutely right sudiptacallingu, Muslims do not accept any other religions, but they want to build mosques in every part of the world. Unfortunately our own Indian government have no qualms about destroying our Temples, but dare not touch Muslim mosques, as you must be quite aware that even after breaking down of Babari Masjid, we have not been able to build a Ram Temple, no where in any other part of the world this could have happened. In fact I blame all the political parties, including B.J.P. for this mess, if we are not united the day is not far when India might once again see a Partition, and I feel that this will start in Kolkatta, and one fine morning we might see Bangladesh 2.

There’s a road in South Kolkata which has a small mosque, a grocery store and a small temple in one compound, bang in the middle of the road. When it was planned to widen the road for public convenience, the entire compound was proposed for demolition. However, the muslims created such disturbance both on the streets and in political circles, that the project was shelved and now there’s a huge traffic bottleneck everyday at that spot. The Govt dares not touch any Muslim property and this in a secular country where 80% are Hindus!

I agree that if this is true it is indeed a travesty. However it is in the Muslim tradition to do this kind of thing. Unfortunately anything other than Islam, Christianity and Judaism is looked upon very poorly by Muslims. While the Muslims treated the Christians better than they were treated by the Roman Empire and even by other Christians with different beliefs, they were given more freedom and were to be governed by their own religion and not by Islam... polytheist and pagan religions were given no respect and very little tolerance.

Dear murderistic,this news was published in "The Hindu", which is one of the most respected news paper in India, and which does not publish anything sensational.Coming to the point, you may not know the attrocities commited by the Muslim invaders in India, in fact I am thankful to Mylot members for giving me such authentic news about the Islamic invasion, and in fact because of communist and leftist Historians in India, we were never given the correct facts of the Muslim rulers, and the attrocities they commited in the name of Islam. Moreover because India is a secular country, the old evils the Muslims commited and continuing to do so regularly in India, is hushed up.
