He does not step in until Febuary, In your topic in proper english it would read this Economy Is getting worse in America I do not expect a complete turnaround in america for atleast 5 more years. and the next 1-2 years it will just keep going down.

Correcting another poster's English is a violation of mylot rules, something you might want to check out. Barack Obama does not "step in" in February...he takes the Oath of Office as our President on January 20th.

He hasn't started his job yet. He has to wait until January 20th. He does, however, already put a lot of pressure on congress to get certain laws passed in order to get right down to it, when he takes office. I'm not sure he can do much about the economy, nobody really knows what to do. He has a plan. Personally, I have no idea where the money should come from, but it looks good on paper, lol. And apparently Wallstreet was happy with it and his newest appointments for his staff. As to global warming, he has some ideas, but they have to be on the backburner right now. I sure hope that he can turn things around and that he gets 'change' done. Just doesn't look like it right now and I'm not holding my breath.

There were many reasons why Barack Obama was elected president. He has many good plans for the United States and he stands for change which is something that many of us want. Yes, our economy is in bad shape but it's been an ongoing problem and one that Mr. Obama plans to address and correct. Global warming, while it is a problem, is not the number 1 problem facing the U.S. this year.
