Do you have a blu ray player yet?

We don't, but my husband has been talking about it for months. He works in an electronics store, and his store has all blu ray players. He has to purchase movies to show on the TV's for the customers, and all he plays now are blu ray discs. He keeps coming home telling me about the picture quality. Now these things don't matter to me. I've never seen a difference between regular tv and HD, or between blu ray and regular TV. But he swears he can see a huge difference. He's had Wall-E on the stores TVs this past week, and we just bought Wall-E and watched it at home Saturday night. The first thing he said was "This is so disappointing". He was joking, sort of. I am going to try to buy him one for Christmas. I've seen them for as low as $200. I'm wondering if there will be any great sales this Friday on Blu Ray players. Do you have on yet? What do you think of it? Do you want to get one, or plan to get one as a gift for someone this year?

No, I don't have one and don't plan on having one until I can't buy regular dvd's anymore. I don't see the difference except in price. Walmart will probably have one for under $150.00. But you didn't hear that from me. I know people there.

Hopefully I'll have the money for it on Friday. I'm not really sure how though.

A ps3 is actually more expensive, and rather a waste since we'll be getting a Wii very soon, if not for Christmas.

We don't have one we don't have an hd tv either they are expensive. I know the Bluray discks are suppose to have alot more definition to them. I think the Playstation 3's will play the blue ra discs too. I would like to have a blue ray disc player maybe some day I can't afford to pay $200 for one Christams present though so not this year.

PS 3 will play blu ray disc too, but since hubby wants a Wii, it's sort of pointless to buy a PS 3. If I manage to get the blu ray player, hubby won't be getting much of anything else besides that. So far I have bought him pajamas and underwear and a hat and gloves. I still want to get him a watch, and maybe some sunglasses. If he gets the blu ray, he'll get a movie for it as well, and then that's it.

my husband would love to have one, too. i still dont know the difference but he said, blu ray is really great, but it just costs a lot... maybe in the future, when blu rays would cost a bit lower...
